Make it stand out.
Hello and welcome!
It is with immense excitement that I greet you as the current president of the National Association of University Women (NAUW), Philadelphia Branch. Please continue to browse through our website, where you will be able to explore NAUW’s Philadelphia Branch and learn about our rich history of community service that dates back to the mid-1950s.
To give you a little background, we are a committee filled with college educated women who believe that we must give back to the communities where we live, work and worship. Our members are dedicated to providing their time, talents and resources to change the world.
To this day, our legacy of service continues in the areas of civic, social and educational causes. A few past and current events that we’ve organized and/or been involved in are:
Providing clothing for the homeless
Donating food staples to restock the cupboards at BEBASHI
Volunteering with the African American Children’s Book Project founded and led by Vanesse Lloyd-Sgambati
Voter registration processes
Adoption of local elementary schools
Grant annual college scholarships to underserved students
The NAUW Philadelphia Branch is a 501(c)3 organization. To continue our commitment of helping our communities, we welcome and appreciate donations.
